Ok so you want to host your own server on left4dead2 non-steam
I'm going to show you how to host a listen server ( a server that is started from the console , a server that you must be in game) as a posed to a dedicated server (a server that is started from SCRDS.exe and does not require you to be in game )

Step 1
Make sure your game is fully up dated to the latest version and that you have installed the latest standalone patch (links are at the bottom of the page )

Step 2
Make sure you have the game selected in Garena properley

Make sure you select left4dead2.exe in Executable settings and -steam in Game Bootstrap Parameters , then press update , once you have done all this you can start the game using the Start Game button.

Step 3
You need to open the console in game.
PS : You open the console by pressing ` or F10 ` is the key to the left of 1 and above the TAB key
if this fails you need to go into settings then click on keyboard mouse settings and enable developer console,

Dont have the console? put this in CHAT in game by pressin y : ";con_enable 1; bind F8 toggleconsole;
Now u can open console everytime u press F8 ..

Once you have the console open you need to type map followed by a space (remember not to use capitol letters) a list of maps will appear you can scroll through these using the  down arrow key .

Once you have the map you require then you can add the game mode you want to do this
you need to press space after the chosen map then type the game-mode you require e.g. campaign, versus , survival .......after that you can add mutations (you dont have to it is optional)

Finally you can add the name of your server you do this by pressing space and typing
hostname and then typing what you want your server to be called e.g. hostname MyServER this will show as MyServER in the steam group servers list
so an example of what it should look like is this
map c1m1_hotel versus mutation13 hostname MyServER
that's it happy hosting ;)

Auto DotA Hero Selector

About
Most of us have trouble picking popular heroes like Shadow Fiend and Huskar in public matches before the others players do. With this program, you'll never experience such issues again.

What it basically does is, it prompts you to pre-select a hero from four of the most commonly used ones (Huskar, Nevermore, Pudge and Troll).

Once you've selected the hero you want, click on "Set Patch". If it gives a message saying Hero Selection was successful, then...well...hero selection was successful. If it doesn't, it means you've done something wrong.

Now close the program, join someone, and when the Game is loading, press F1 to start the script.
Now the program will automatically pick the hero for you before anyone else even gets a chance to.

NOTE: Be sure to press F2 (close the script) as soon as the hero has been selected or you'll go around buying random stuff from random shops.

Have two skills that can disable the enemies, it is impale and voodoo.
have one skill which could instantly kills enemy, it is Finger of Death
all of his skills are active
killing the enemies on the early minutes is the main priority of lion

Pros:


-have a low health point and armor
-difficult to use this heroes like other professional players (Impale on the ground, fog, shift queue, etc)

Drafting

Pick Lion The Demon Witch if :

1. You like to be your team's ganker and support. I made a poll here, and most people said that they like ganker and support roles

2. Most of your gold will be spent on items for the benefit of the team such as Animal Courier, Observer Ward, Sentry Ward, and Smoke of Deceit.

Choosing Lane

Become Lane support is the best choice for Lion. Lane Supports or Babysitters are Heroes who help their team's Carry control the lane in the early stages of the game.

Early game's Strategy

Help your team's Carry control the lane so helps him to farm easily. Since you are a ranged hero, you can use this to your advantage by harassing melee heroes that are in your lane. Do not use your ‘Impale’ to harass until you reach level 3. You may use it for a potential first blood or to save yourself and your ally from one. If you want to regenerate mana, use ‘Mana Drain’ on the enemy ranged creep.


Mid game's Strategy

As before, your role is to stay with your team and assist them in their kills. Use your ‘Finger’ only if your team has no long range damaging spells and no one will be able to reach him. Never aim for a kill for yourself. Also, ward/counter-ward the map. Hard to become babysitter, right?

Late game's Strategy

It will be hard for you in late game. Almost all of Lion's skill wouldn't be useful. If you are pushed, Stay away from enemy with "BKB". Assist your team with your stun and disables. If there is a frail enemy that can be killed with ‘Impale’ + ‘Finger’, kill him fast.

You are still limited to 3 basic skills and 1 ultimate but you can basically create your own hero with almost all the skills of every hero in the game available for you.

Main game modes are:

-AP or All Pick All skills are available for you to choose. 

-AR or All Random you are given a random set of skills.

-SD or Standard Draft You are given a set of heroes from where you can choose the skills that you want.

-MD or Modified Draft Similar to -SD

Additional game modes are:

-d2 Provides a choice of 20 heroes.

-d3 Provides a choice of 30 heroes.

-d4 only works with "sd" or "md" Provides a choice of 40 heroes.

-s6 allows you to pick 6 skills (1 extra ultimate and 1 extra normal ability).

Ingame Commands:

-SI (Skill Inventory) shows what the skills you allies took.

-II (Item Inventory) shows what items your allies have.

-FF (Fast Finish)

-WFF (Who FF'd)

-SP #(Toggle passive skill display, # is the skill's place number while drafting)

-SDDON/-SDDOFF (System Display Damage)

-ADDTIME (Adds 1 minute to the clock when picking skills, can be entered at most once)

-READY (During the skill picking phase, chooses your remaining skills randomly)

Some spells are nerffed to give balance to the game:

*The silence from Last Word lasts only 0.75/1/1.25/1.5s.

*Multicast chances reduced x2 by 7%/3.5%/0%, x3 by 7%/3.5%, x4 by 7%

*Rearm has a 15/10/5 hidden cooldown after refreshing before being able to refresh again

*Feast only regenerates/deals 1/2/3/4% HP on ranged heroes.

*Greater Bash only has a 10% proc chance on ranged heroes.

*Dispersion disperses only 6/8/10/12% damage on STR heroes and heroes morphed from a STR metamorphosis.

*Essence Shift only works on half the attacks for ranged heroes.

*Spell with a cooldown less than or equal to 3s can not proc Aftershock, Fiery Soul, Static Field, Warpath, Overload (except if they originally could proc the spell).

If your ban is not right, you have to contact the staffmembers of the channel your account is banned. Every channel has its own bansystem.


How do i whisper another player?

Doubleclick his name on the list, or write "/w username".
